Our week started with the Open Day where parents had the chance to visit our classroom and witness the exciting projects the students have been working on. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the robot-making and coding demonstrations.
Students showcased their innovative Lego robots, which they designed and programmed to perform specific tasks. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to take pride in their hard work and to share their projects with the DSKI parents.
The excitement continued with the Cross Country Run, where all upper primary students participated. The students ran around the green field and under the Rokko Liner. The atmosphere was electric as everyone cheered each other on.
It was fantastic to see the students pushing themselves to achieve their personal bests. I am so proud of the children for training hard to accomplish this feat, and for exercising a growth mindset throughout the process.
Throughout the week, the students have been hard at work preparing their advertisements and news articles for the upcoming assembly. This project has allowed them to practice their writing and presentation skills while learning how to communicate effectively.
The students are excited to share their creations with the rest of the school and their families during the assembly. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and we can’t wait to see the final presentations come to life!
As we wrap up this action-packed week, we’re incredibly proud of the progress our students have made. They have demonstrated creativity, athleticism, and collaboration, and we look forward to more exciting activities in the coming weeks.
Thank you to all the parents who attended Open Day and supported our students in the Cross Country Run. Your involvement makes a significant impact on their learning experience.
Have a wonderful weekend to all of you.
Your Homeroom teacher,
Ms. Pam
